Hello, we’re Emma and Mano, the owners and hosts here at Top Riley.
In 2021, the beauty, history and tranquillity of Eyam and the Peak District drew us to this special place, and we’ve been caring for it, and sharing it with our guests, ever since.
Top Riley is more than a collection of cottages. It’s a carefully looked-after place of peace, nature and restoration, designed for guests who value quiet, space and time to slow down. Everything here is shaped around comfort, calm and the feeling of being genuinely looked after.
We live in the main house and love welcoming our guests, while always respecting your privacy. Whether you’re staying for a long weekend or a couple of weeks, we’re on hand if needed to help your stay unfold with ease, so it feels like a true break, a moment to breathe, and time simply to be.

Eyam Museum aims to open Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 with last admission at 15:15. The museum closes at 16:00. It is advisable to pre book tickets on the website. The museum will give you a real insight into the history of Eyam and the details of the plague through detailed local accounts of how it spread, who died and who survived.
