The Perfect Stay In The Heart Of The Peak District
A Peaceful Haven with Magnificent Views
Riley Wood Cottage is our lovingly restored one-bedroom retreat, thoughtfully designed to offer couples a peaceful and luxurious base from which to explore the Peak District. Surrounded by open countryside and ancient woodland, it’s a place where time slows down and nature takes centre stage.
Downstairs, the open-plan living, dining, and kitchen area is the heart of the cottage. With comfortable seating, a well-equipped kitchen, and space to linger over a homemade meal or a glass of wine, it’s perfect for relaxed evenings in.
The spacious and comfortable seating area is next to a beautiful log fire, making it the perfect place to unwind after exploring. Every corner of this cottage has been thoughtfully restored to blend rustic charm with modern comfort, warm, welcoming, and quietly stylish.
Upstairs, the spacious bedroom is a calm, elegant space, complete with a sumptuous king-size bed, a dressing table, and plenty of storage.
From the window, uninterrupted views stretch out across the Peak District, a rolling landscape of moors, meadows, and dry-stone walls. It’s a view that greets you each morning and stays with you long after your stay.
The bathroom at Riley Wood is wonderfully spacious, with a sleek walk-in shower that brings a touch of indulgence to your stay. Light, airy, and thoughtfully designed, it’s a calming space to refresh and unwind.
Step out onto your private patio and take in the peaceful views across open fields, where deer graze and birdsong fills the air. It’s a beautiful spot to linger with morning coffee, enjoy the evening light, or simply watch the wildlife that feels so at home here.
