Hello, we’re Emma and Mano, the owners and hosts here at Top Riley.
In 2021, we found ourselves drawn to this part of the Peak District, the quiet, the history, and the feeling that everything moves at a slightly slower pace here. It didn’t take long to realise it was somewhere we wanted to care for, and share with others.
Top Riley isn’t just a place to stay. It’s somewhere we look after properly, so that when you arrive, everything feels ready. Warm, settled, and easy to step into.
We live here too, so we notice the details. The little things that make a difference, from making sure the space feels right when you walk in, to being on hand if you need anything, while always giving you the space to switch off.
Most of our guests come for the same reason, a bit of quiet, a change of pace, and time to properly relax. We simply make sure that’s exactly what they find when they get here.

Eyam Museum aims to open Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 with last admission at 15:15. The museum closes at 16:00. It is advisable to pre book tickets on the website. The museum will give you a real insight into the history of Eyam and the details of the plague through detailed local accounts of how it spread, who died and who survived.
